Prayer: A Deep Cry for Mercy and Guidance

Bible Text: "Remember, Lord, Your great mercy and love, for they are from of old." - Psalm 25:6.

God of All Creation,  

I come before You with a heart seeking direction, knowing that my steps are uncertain without Your guidance. Your Word in Psalm 25:6 reminds me of Your great mercy and love, which have been steadfast from of old. Today, I ask for that same mercy to light my path and lead me in the way I should go.  

Lord, You know the decisions I face—the crossroads where I stand, the choices that carry weight, and the moments where I feel lost and unsure. I confess my need for You, for I cannot navigate this life on my own. I ask for Your mercy to guide my steps, to open doors that align with Your will, and to close those that lead me astray.  

Father, I pray for clarity in my mind and peace in my heart as I seek Your direction. Help me to trust in Your timing, even when the way forward seems unclear. Teach me to lean not on my own understanding but to acknowledge You in all my ways, knowing that You will make my paths straight.  

Thank You, Lord, for being a God who guides and directs Your children. Thank You for the assurance that Your mercy and love are unchanging, and that You are faithful to lead those who seek You. I surrender my plans, my desires, and my future into Your hands, trusting that Your ways are higher than mine.  

Help me to walk in obedience, to listen for Your voice, and to follow where You lead. May my life be a reflection of Your guidance and grace, bringing glory to Your name.  

In the mighty and guiding name of Jesus, I pray,

Merciful Father, I come before You with a humble and contrite heart, acknowledging my sins and failures.
